Chocolate Cake
Rosetta Stone makes me crave sweets.
I did a lot of Rosetta Stone today. It made me crave chocolate all day long.
There Is a Lot of Technology Involved in This Project
The reason: there is a picture in the lessons that shows a little girl reaching for a big pile of chocolates.
This is an important difference between Pimsleur and Rosetta Stone. Pimsleur has no pictures and therefore doesn’t make me crave sweets. Hearing the word “chocolate” in Greek doesn’t have the same effect on me as seeing a big pile of chocolate.
The funny thing is, I’m not even a chocolate person. Unless the chocolate happens to be embedded in a pint of non-chocolate ice cream.
In the evening Brandt and I went to meet some members of my running team at the Boat Basin Café.
I ended up ordering a big piece of chocolate cake. I blame Rosetta Stone.

The cake was delicious, but in the future I think I need to eat a full meal before attempting a Rosetta Stone lesson. The food pictures are simply too appealing.
