In early 2013, the NYC International Arabic Language & Culture Social Meetup Community (phew, that’s a long one!) had 834 enthusiasts, while the Chicago Arabic Language, Culture & Civilization Club had 886 members and the Yalla Arabi Arabic Language Learning group in San Francisco/East Bay had 419 learners.

Okay, so there were at that time none in Nashville, Tennessee—but perhaps that is an opportunity to start one up!
