Launched in 1971, Nowy Dziennik Polish Daily News is a Polish-language daily newspaper (daily except for Sunday, that is).

Its print edition—which is distributed mostly in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut—is broadly available at newsstands in my neighborhood, which is not surprising, since I run into Polish people just about every day here.

I’m afraid I didn’t read Nowy Dziennik much at all during my Polish unit. My Polish remained a bit primitive for Polish news reading, though I was able to puzzle out pieces of stories and enjoyed it when I tried.
