A reader of my blog suggested reading Wikipedia in foreign languages as an alternative to foreign-newspaper reading. It’s fun, like reading the encyclopedia randomly. You could click forever!

So, go to Wikipedia and then pick a language off the home page. Or, if you are already in an article in English, look on the left for other languages in which you can read that article.

Once you have finished that one, if you don’t feel like making decisions about what else to read, just pick the “Random Article” link near the top left.

For bonus points, try contributing in these languages once you feel you’re willing to take a shot ;)
