Nightmares and Head Injuries
I keep studying despite injuries and traumatic dreams.
This morning I woke up—way too early—from a nightmare that a massive and sinister lunar force was dragging everyone in Manhattan to New Jersey. Vehicles of all types were being sucked across bridges and tunnels to the other side of the Hudson.
I myself was in an SUV with about four other people, and I had to pee really badly, but the powerful lunar force would not allow us to stop or exit the car. All I could do was get sucked, inexorably, towards New Jersey.
It was terrifying.
Also, I am studying injured. Last night in the shower, I smashed my head (unintentionally) into one of our shower knobs.
The impact was so loud I at first thought I might have cracked my skull. I had to ice my forehead for a long time. And now I have a big painful welt right in the middle of it.
I just hope the impact did not knock too much Italian out of my head.
