On 204th Street between the Grand Concourse and Mosholu Parkway is a small strip of Korean stores and restaurants. Back in 2010 when I visited, the area did not give the initial impression of full economic health.

I had a nice visit to a Korean market called Go Hyang Jip. While I can’t recommend a special Korean-related trip to the area (sorry, Bedford Park!), if you are in the neighborhood and want Korean things, they are there.
