This is a must-visit kind of place in the Arthur Avenue section of the Bronx.

Owner David Greco is a big guy with a big personality. He seems to know everyone, and the customers who come around greet him with great enthusiasm. 

Back in 2009 when I was studying Italian, I handed out free cheese and salami samples there one day in order to get in some Italian practice, and food worship was everywhere. People would take the samples, swoon, and line up to buy more.
