FIAF, as it is known, is a wonderful New York City institution offering diverse cultural events and resources for Francophile New Yorkers.
I have gone to a conversation event there, seen French movies, visited the library, taken a few French classes, and thoroughly enjoyed it all. If you are an adult in New York studying French or interested in French, I would strongly recommend joining.
Although I don’t have direct experience with the options for children, FIAF offers various activities for them and also runs a French-language preschool.
