Oxford Learner’s Spanish Dictionary

What makes this a learner’s dictionary as opposed to a regular dictionary is that this one has word tips and examples for the language newcomer.

I am sort of a hard-core traditionalist about dictionaries, so I didn’t take to the hold-your-hand nature of this learner-friendly dictionary, but it could be useful for someone who really is just starting out with Spanish (and probably for me, too, if I weren’t so curmudgeonly and inflexible).

The binding and paper are great, which matters for a book you are going to use a lot.

The Oxford Learner’s Spanish Dictionary is billed as appropriate for children age 11 and up, and I do in fact think kids might like it.
